Hi, I'm Lea. I'm a Registered Nurse with over a decade of experience working across various sectors in the community — general practice, community nursing, chronic illness management, and everything in between.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed firsthand just how overwhelming and confusing the home care system can be for older Australians and their families. I've met so many people who desperately needed support at home but had no idea where to start. Many had no one to guide them through the process, no one to help them register with My Aged Care or find a home care provider they could trust. So, I stepped in. I made referrals, explained the paperwork, coordinated with providers, and most importantly, I gave them someone they could rely on.

Through all of this, I found one thing to be true: home is where healing begins. Helping someone remain in the comfort and dignity of their own home has always felt deeply meaningful to me. I’ve seen how proper care at home can improve not just physical health, but emotional wellbeing too.

That’s why I decided to start my own home care service. My goal is simple - to cut through the red tape and create a compassionate, trustworthy service that puts people first. I want to make it easier for families to get the help they need without the stress of navigating a confusing system.

But beyond simplifying care, I wanted to offer something deeper, something more holistic. I believe that true wellbeing doesn’t just come from treating physical symptoms. It comes from addressing the whole person. That’s why I’ve built Wholesome Home Services around a holistic health philosophy, inspired by what I call the Four Circles of Wellbeing:

  1. Physical – supporting the body through clinical care, nutrition, mobility, and safety

  2. Psychological – fostering emotional balance, resilience, and mental wellness

  3. Social – nurturing connection, companionship, and community engagement

  4. Spiritual – honoring values, beliefs, and a sense of purpose

To me, these four circles are essential pillars of ageing well. Every person is unique, and care should reflect that, not just ticking boxes, but truly seeing the individual behind the referral.

Wholesome Home Services was born out of this mission. It’s more than just a business, it’s a continuation of my life’s work and a commitment to making home care personal, clear, and genuinely supportive.

If you or someone you love needs help at home, I’m here to walk the journey with you, no jargon, no runarounds, just wholesome care.to walk the journey with you, no jargon, no runarounds, just wholesome care.
